Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2025

At PowerMTA (powermta.in), your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple and honest — no jargon.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Email address — when you subscribe to our weekly newsletter, so we can send you marketing tips, SEO guides, and deal updates.
  • Usage data — anonymous data such as pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, and referring URLs, collected via analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to help us improve the site.
  • Contact form data — your name and email when you reach out to us through our contact page.
  • Cookies and advertising identifiers — used by Google AdSense and other ad partners to serve and measure ads, and by Amazon Associates to track affiliate referrals. See Section 5 below.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as payment details, government IDs, or passwords.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To send our newsletter (email marketing tips, SEO guides, and deal roundups) to subscribers who have opted in.
  • To respond to your questions or support requests submitted via our contact form.
  • To understand how visitors interact with our website so we can improve content and site performance.
  • To serve relevant advertising through Google AdSense and measure ad performance.
  • To track Amazon affiliate referrals when you click outbound links on our deals page.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We will never sell your email address or use it for unsolicited marketing outside the topics you signed up for.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following limited situations:

  • Service providers — trusted third-party tools (e.g., email delivery services, hosting providers) that help us operate the website, bound by confidentiality agreements.
  • Advertising partners — Google AdSense and the Amazon Associates Program may collect data via cookies as described below.
  • Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or government authority.

5. Cookies and Advertising The current site does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies. It may use browser storage to remember interface preferences such as dark mode. If Google AdSense, analytics, newsletter or affiliate tracking is added, this section will be updated to identify the service, explain its purpose and provide the applicable privacy/opt-out information. 6. Data Retention

We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us directly, after which your data is deleted from our records within a reasonable timeframe.

6a. Affiliate Disclosure If a page contains an affiliate relationship, the relationship will be disclosed clearly near the relevant links. 7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Deletion — request that we delete your data.
  • Unsubscribe — opt out of emails at any time by contacting us.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@powermta.in.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

9. Children's Privacy

PowerMTA is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
